2024 Progress
We had a massive year in 2024 at Olivia – here’s what our construction teams accomplished:
- Titles for Stages 4 and 8 were issued, bringing 101 families a step closer to their dream homes.
- Construction was completed for Stages 5, 6, 7 and 9.
- Our Stage 9 neighbourhood park was completed and will be opened to the public by mid-February 2025.
- Street trees were planted in Stages 4, 8, and 9. There are a variety of trees approved by City of Melton Council.
- Stage 4 – 123 trees; Spotted Gum (evergreen), Queensland Brush Box (evergreen), Turkey Oak (deciduous), and Chinese Elm (semi-deciduous).
- Stage 8 – 34 Turkey Oak trees.
- Stage 9 – 16 trees; Queensland Brush Box, Honey Locust (deciduous), and Turkey Oak.
What’s happening in 2025?
Stage 5 Titled January 2025
This month, we have seen titles for Stage 5 issue which will result in another 79 families to start to build their dream homes in the coming months.
Stages to Title Q1 2025
All physical works are complete in Stages 6, 7 and 9, all lots have been pegged, and we are awaiting final approval by the relevant authorities. We are looking forward to titles of these stages issuing by no later than the end of February 2025.
Further Streetscaping Works
Street tree planting in Stages 5, 6 and 7 will commence in early February and are expected to be completed no later than the end of March 2025.
- Stage 5 – 97 trees; White Cedar (deciduous), Chinese Pistachio (deciduous), Turkey Oak, Chinese Elm, and Autumn Golden Elm (deciduous).
- Stage 6 – 82 trees; Chinese Pistachio, Chinese Elm, and Autumn Golden Elm.
- Stage 7 – 44 trees; Brittle Gum (evergreen), Honey Locust, and White Cedar.
Childcare Construction
Construction is expected to commence on the childcare centre in mid-late 2025 with the opening due mid-late 2026.
The architecturally designed premium childcare facility will be located on the corner of Greigs Road and Panaia Boulevard (current location of the Olivia sales office), at the entrance of Olivia for convenient drop-offs and pick-ups.
Once fully operational, the five-classroom centre, with over 600 square metres of outdoor play area, will cater for up to 96 children, be open between the hours of 7am and 6pm Monday to Friday, and create 20 local jobs.
